What We Do

First RespondersRx provides real-time patient medication history to EMS and Fire personnel on scene. First responders may view a Patient’s medication history in real-time from health plans, PBMs and pharmacies, which may include information not readily available within their general health records. Real-time medication history information includes:

  • 12-month history
  • Retail and mail order pharmacy history
  • Dosage information
  • Last refill
  • Medication description and more.

For first responders, every second counts. At the point of emergency patient interaction is ideal, but not always possible. First RespondersRx lets you focus on providing care, not searching for medication bottles and lists.

Medication history information dramatically decreases adverse drug events (ADEs). Approximately 120,000 patients need to be hospitalized for further treatment after emergency visits for ADEs each year. Older adults are twice as likely to come to emergency departments for ADEs and nearly seven times more likely to be hospitalized after a visit.
